This was sent to me from the World Society for the Protection of Animals. I thought it worthy of posting. Check out my other blog posts at TheVelvetSnoot.com on how to make a difference and save an animals life.  Carry the message of anti-cruelty wherever you go- it makes a difference. You don’t have to donate if you cannot afford to, carrying the message is free, you can make a huge difference with your own life. Cutting down on the use of any animal products is a huge contribution and a giant step in the right direction. When they put impossible loads on her back and made her carry them for miles,

she walked until her feet bled.

When they forced her to keep going despite painful infected wounds,
she did it without a fight.

When they neglected her, abused her, and deprived her of proper food,
she kept going, for years.

And then…

When her tired, broken body was finally too exhausted to go on,
they stopped giving her food and water.

When she was too weak, emaciated and wounded to work,
they brought her to a field and walked away.

When she tried to follow them but was too lame and injured to walk,
they didn’t look back as they left her to die.

WSPA is working to bring desperately needed relief to horses, mules, and donkeys like the one above who are abused, neglected and abandoned.  We can make a difference for these animals - but we need your help.
